The second & the last of the linked series are so good, love them both a lot. Here i enjoy so much the ascending feel as if we were pondering whether we'll climb the stairs up or not... Added to that feel, i love the geometric intrication of rectangles from the side door's glass to the ones at the bottom of the image & end of the stairs. The absorbed in reading attitude (absence, again here) of the man and the red arrow dynamize the whole just like the beautiful ideograms on the left "hold" the frame. All works for a perfect compo you took the time & discretion to obtain. Clap-clap ;)

I'm fascinated by your linked pictures. I find them so strong and simple, esp. the first one. Some sadness too.

What a fascinating series of people posed sitting down, either bored or worn out tired!
This one here evokes images of a King or Queen sitting high up on a throne surveying his/her subjects down below. Perhaps this is literary King charged with protecting an Empire of books!

A wonderful supporting set to this and I feel the overall sense of Time having slowed to a halt . . we are at the Nothing Hour.

Oh yes, dramatic view of this reader facing the door in a mood of total loneliness. An image evocative of the apparent weakness of some activities requiring nothing more than a presence, even if all the people of the planet is at this time in a deep sleep.
