"T16 and a new life..."

... this seems to be a crack monitoring device, installed on the fenced wall of this Former Hollywood Road Police Married Quarters. The building was vacated a couple years ago and the site was once on the Government's List of Sites for Sale. Yet subsequent to various oppositions and further investigations, its historical value was finally confirmed and the site was removed from the List for Sale in 2007 (for one year). The Government is now inviting "Revitalization Proposals" instead...

PS. The site is the original site of the Central School which was renamed Queen's College in 1894, but was seriously damaged during World War II.

I do not regard myself as a photographer. I'm merely a guy who enjoys capturing all the memorable scenes that I encounter in my everyday life. Perhaps, it's like a traveller hoping to record his memorable journey, but in my case, it's the journey of my life ... If I can record my encounters in such a way that they leave an image on the mind of myself and other viewers, it's a tremendous joy and some accomplishment...
In terms of photography, I'm trying to preserve the moments as my eyes see "something" and my heart feels it too. As such, I seldom feel interested in planned, arranged or manipulated photographs...
