kung lee cane juicePosted by hugo poon (hong kong, Hong Kong) on 30 November 2008 in Food & Cuisine and Portfolio. Another old Hong Kong shot... This is one of the few old shops that has remarkably remained unchanged both in terms of decoration and business style (since its opening in the late 40's). Fresh cane is used every morning to make juice for the day and no juice will be kept overnight! Apart from fresh cane juice, it's also famous for its "turtle jelly", a traditional Chinese health food that is good to the skin and throat. Both were the favourites of my generation and now of my kids...:-) Hollywood Road, Central, Hong Kong I do not regard myself as a photographer. I'm merely a guy who enjoys capturing all the memorable scenes that I encounter in my everyday life. Perhaps, it's like a traveller hoping to record his memorable journey, but in my case, it's the journey of my life ... If I can record my encounters in such a way that they leave an image on the mind of myself and other viewers, it's a tremendous joy and some accomplishment...
