"fine?"

"Fine........."

Centre Street, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong

Fujifilm FinePix S5Pro 1/320 second F/2.5 ISO 100 53 mm (35mm equiv.)

I do not regard myself as a photographer. I'm an ordinary man but extraordinarily obsessed with capturing all the memorable scenes that I encounter in my everyday life. It's like an excited traveller craving to record his memorable journey in a memorable way, but in my case, it's the journey of my life ... If I can record my encounters in such a way that they leave an image on the mind of myself and other viewers, it's a tremendous joy and some accomplishment...
In terms of photography, I'm trying to preserve the moments as my eyes see "something" and my heart feels it too. As such, I seldom feel interested in planned, arranged or manipulated photographs...

One doesn't seems to be afraid of this warning , probably waiting for something to eat ..

Certainly not 'fine'...these poor birds depend on us to feed them...superbly observed and presented Hugo! Love the way you cropped the pigeon! Makes the image all the more strong due to the power of suggestion!

Ah, here a some dry bread I collected : birdie-birdie-birdiiiiiiiiiie ! ;)))
Super frame, clever one, makes me smile : we are the same, we humans, standing over the forbidden places dreams, and so on. Cool ! ;))))

A recent study has shown that pigeons are attracted to photographers more than they are to bird feed. A schedule of fines is due to be released shortly for photographing pigeons, it works on a sliding scale dependent on the focal length of the lens used, so stick above 200mm and you will be OK.

Lot of humor in this capture with the bird on the warning sign... like the touch of red of the bird's feet.

The sign is so classic in its 'Bureaucratic Speak' - that I shake my head. Suppose I stand there feeding pigeons and other wild birds causing beauty to public places? Do I receive an award?

There is no mistaking the rules of this sign, the selective color takes this to a new level.
