Yes, Hugo, i heard and understand so much - awful violence, free one (any violence is "free" & revolting), and when you think of innocent people just travelling it's just......... I feel damn sad too to the violence from the street corner (2 people on the street, in my street, yelling at each other) to wars anywhere. And sometimes, you know what ? I'd love to leave our crazy societies & climb up some Himalay-esque pure & peaceful place where people as you say first listen then hear their & others hearts. I share your deep sadness & take your time Hugo, no hurry, it's not nothing... Thinking of you - and of those 7 shortened lives. *******

I saw that on our news! It's horrible! What's happening to mankind! People are going crazy and don't feel anything for another life.

My thoughts,sympathies and feelings are with you and all those who lost their lives Hugo! A tragic incident that is a symbol of our world roday!

Its hard to understand. One of my friends at work told me the story.
So tragic, life can really be terrible when something so senseless
occurs. My sympathy to those poor trapped hostages and the people
who they were close to and meant so much to.

We, Filipinos, sympathize with you guys. It hurts us just as it did to you. Moreover, it's annoying, confusing, irritating, and insulting to us. I don't know much more about the event than what the news showed and what I think is that it was a combination of poor preparations, bad luck and sheer stupidity. But I hope you won't blame the whole Philippine nation for the fault of the few cops. We never did want whatever happened in that tragic event. Our heart goes with you and we sure hope people will pay for what they did.. or did not do.

Very sad and to the point you want to get angry. I just hope that the Philippine government under their new president would learn from this. It just didn't involve a gruesome crime, but a very strong foreign and economic relations. It should teach the police force there that they were a big joke and must redeem itself. Everyone around the world is very sorry... but in the end we all have to forgive and learn. Your photo perfectly exhibited the sadness that is August 23rd.
