going home...Posted by hugo poon (hong kong, Hong Kong) on 29 December 2011 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. Prince's Terrace, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong I do not regard myself as a photographer. I'm an ordinary man but extraordinarily obsessed with capturing all the memorable scenes that I encounter in my everyday life. It's like an excited traveller craving to record his memorable journey in a memorable way, but in my case, it's the journey of my life ... If I can record my encounters in such a way that they leave an image on the mind of myself and other viewers, it's a tremendous joy and some accomplishment...

@k@: Makes my day, my year to read such beautiful words of yours!!! May all the lovely memories always throb in the new year!:-))) Happy 2012 k@!!!!! @DULCIE: Congrats on the new cam! Trust you'll enjoy it!:-) Regarding my setting, with the exception of focus and selection of aperture, I've left almost everything auto... @john4jack: Oh like it much! A good quality APS sensor in a compact body that I can squeeze into my briefcase - I've been carrying it everyday everywhere... I'll be in a real dilemma though when the "X100's big brother" arrives.:-) @Ian Smith: "Self-documentary..." Like that much Ian! Wishing you and your loved ones a very lovely weekend and year end!:-) @MX: Thanks for stopping by leaving wonderful warm words! Wishing you and your family a very happy new year in Melbourne!:-) |
