"C A T" ?

Posted by hugo poon (hong kong, Hong Kong) on 3 February 2012 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

"What else? Can't you read it's written on the ground?!"

It's no more than a few seconds that he lost interest in me and returned to his "haughty aloofness".:-)

PS. It actually reads "C A T V" - Cable TV.:-)

I do not regard myself as a photographer. I'm an ordinary man but extraordinarily obsessed with capturing all the memorable scenes that I encounter in my everyday life. It's like an excited traveller craving to record his memorable journey in a memorable way, but in my case, it's the journey of my life ... If I can record my encounters in such a way that they leave an image on the mind of myself and other viewers, it's a tremendous joy and some accomplishment...
In terms of photography, I'm trying to preserve the moments as my eyes see "something" and my heart feels it too. As such, I seldom feel interested in planned, arranged or manipulated photographs...

You have an excellent eye on these little visual details offered by the city.
This one makes me smile !

Ha, to catch the cat up its name on the street, that is superb serendipity and i can picture you pressing the shutter with a discreet yet wide (wild ? ;) smile. Framed the best way to have the 3 letters in the field and the yellow eyes echoing the yellow stripes make the "beast" even more present : love the way he stares at you his ears & paws funnily straight and alert. Just F A B.
(The VBZY written on the striped box suggests there is someone (a rat ?) prisoner in and trying to express himself with those onomatopoeia-like word ;) Have a veru good end of week, dear friend***

@k@: Yes, yes, yes... This cat must have kept his "rat prisoner" inside the box!:-) How I enjoy your imaginations! Thanks k@! Have a lovely weekend!
