I like the dramatic impact of this image, Hugo - the rent sign is a most striking allegory for the rent crisis - and even the vertical handwriting is symbolic of the high-rise structure of modern cities. Beautiful depth of field as well with the teeming crowd overseen by the advertising images.

US$11,813 per month ? I'm guessing the apartment does not overlook this street . . .

And yet, I cannot help but be drawn to the man with the walking stick - no doubt he cannot afford these luxury apartments.

High at the top end but worth it, I'm sure. Having just been in Singapore, I don't think Hong Kong is more expensive overall. Everything in Singapore is expensive except food at their wonderful "hawker centers".

Good image making is about seeing sometimes the ordinary and combining elements to make the extraordinary , this fits the bill.
