What an atmosphere, Hugo... The background, with its softness, catches my eye first, then all the mess yet an organized one, and the colors of the boats. wonderful. i love the fog

I do love these almost hidden treasures of HK. When you look at old HK movies the harbour seemed to be teeming with these boats, yet today are few and far between. The B&W seems to appeal to me more - adding a timeless essence to the scene.

What an interesting and cool shot Hugo. I love how the city is covered in a blanket of fog, making it mute. The foreground is like nothing I've ever seen before. For me, there is a kind of morbid curiosity, like floating coffins in the water, but not in the literal sense. So much symbolism here on the state of the economy these days. Brilliant shot!

Oh i was just coming back to look at it again and read Sharon's comment just above, absolutely my feeling too : floating coffins, like in India over the Gange river. Childhood sleeps inside, not dead - at all ;)
