Better late than never! Here's what I saw the other day at a bus stop...

I do not regard myself as a photographer. I'm an ordinary man but extraordinarily obsessed with capturing all the memorable scenes that I encounter in my everyday life. It's like an excited traveller craving to record his memorable journey in a memorable way, but in my case, it's the journey of my life ... If I can record my encounters in such a way that they leave an image on the mind of myself and other viewers, it's a tremendous joy and some accomplishment...
In terms of photography, I'm trying to preserve the moments as my eyes see "something" and my heart feels it too. As such, I seldom feel interested in planned, arranged or manipulated photographs...

Good one! We say "más vale tarde que nunca" in Spanish.
Very pleased to meet you, Hugo. And in an street autoportrait, as it has to be :))

"Strike a pose!"... Hi Hugo, if you're planning to enter the world of portraiture you'll need to do a better pose than that :-)
Nice composition. But it seems to portray you in a very negative light - mono, bank reference, distorted effect , and a man who lost his suit (You're previous 'self' photos I think you looked less casual). Be well my friend.

@IanSmith: You're right my friend. That's why I've never been able to overcome the shyness of doing self portraiture.:-) How about this if you've not seen before:
Take care

Oh, I just noticed! It's not a reflection at all! - The letters are round the wrong way. Clever :-)

Hi hugo... you did it in the end.... pleased to meet you :)

This is a good shot of your reflection in the bill poster board, I see you've reversed the image ;) Nice effect with the crumpled plastic cover.

Perfect, Hugo. Beautifully seen and well done. (...don't tell anyone else - but seeing this image again had me jumping up and down - gritting my teeth - demanding, "He IS a photographer - a damn good photographer - see!!! Just look at how creative he is and how good his work is...) By the way, I almost always wear shorts. I hate long pants.
