I do not regard myself as a photographer. I'm an ordinary man but extraordinarily obsessed with capturing all the memorable scenes that I encounter in my everyday life. It's like an excited traveller craving to record his memorable journey in a memorable way, but in my case, it's the journey of my life ... If I can record my encounters in such a way that they leave an image on the mind of myself and other viewers, it's a tremendous joy and some accomplishment...
In terms of photography, I'm trying to preserve the moments as my eyes see "something" and my heart feels it too. As such, I seldom feel interested in planned, arranged or manipulated photographs...

Your composition is just stunning, Hugo! The trees try to hold the moon up for as long as possible...Beautiful black and white tones.

Like an abstract egg sitting in its infinite nest. A beautiful silhouette, Hugo. Very different and deeply compelling.

Out of a mysterious fairy tale, Hugo ! Great beginning of 3 - also makes me remind of Caspar David Friedrich highly romantic paintings.
That deep grey is terrific !

Reminds me of an Asian woodblock print, Hugo ... beautifully composed to suggest tranquility and balance ... as is always the case, the tonal quality of your image is superb ... ron

A beautiful departure from your street scenes which I love. The composition, with the moon so carefully placed, is fabulous. A great sight indeed.

Lovely composition, with the moon so precisely located in the circle of those branches. A real sense of the night creeping into/over the landscape. A very nice shot!

Well, this is quite a change from the last few days! Could the composition be any better?!?! Not just the placement of the moon, but the way you've used to tree and the bushes. Just stunning.

That's a lovely shot, and perfect in B&W. I too saw the moon Hugo, but it disappeared before I got my cam :(

Beautifil exquisite silhouette. The branches and the moon combined look like an oriental drawing.
