I do not regard myself as a photographer. I'm an ordinary man but extraordinarily obsessed with capturing all the memorable scenes that I encounter in my everyday life. It's like an excited traveller craving to record his memorable journey in a memorable way, but in my case, it's the journey of my life ... If I can record my encounters in such a way that they leave an image on the mind of myself and other viewers, it's a tremendous joy and some accomplishment...
In terms of photography, I'm trying to preserve the moments as my eyes see "something" and my heart feels it too. As such, I seldom feel interested in planned, arranged or manipulated photographs...

So many worlds colliding in a single image ! The lower part of the image should be in Italy when the upper one is in Hong-Kong for sure, and look at those strong lines of light running through in golden colors... Nobody in the set and yet it's our human beings speed and urge that I feel. That's arty-efficient*

@k@: For your information, the "lower part" is the Legislative Council Building (the former home of Supreme Court) while the "upper one" is the HSBC Headquarters. Love how you read this image my dear!!!:-)

There is so much energy in this shot. I love the lights as they race across the frame. Much like the working world in a frenzy.

I'm totally fan Hugo, this is amazing love the bright ligth, the speed sensation, contrats between old and modern architecture, and how you framed everything in this brilliant shot. One of my favorité pic of last few weeks... and i know you don't use a lot of post-treatment so this is a real masterpiece. Have a cool week-end !

(Indeed you did my friend...) - This is amazing. In addition to having produced a superior night capture; you also have this contrast of old architecture against this high-tech-sci-fi outrageous light show high-rise beyond. The foreground headlight trails are the icing on this visual powerhouse. Yummy, Hugo!
